ASU Law students are selected to join the SELJ based on their Write-On Competition score. The Write-On Competition is held immediately following the end of the Spring semester and has two components: a closed-universe memorandum and a Bluebook citation quiz. All Write-On Candidates are graded anonymously using ASU Exam Numbers.
Note: Students entering their second year who transfer from another school, or who, for exceptional reasons, were unable to participate in the Write-On Competition may petition for SELJ membership. Please contact the Editor-in-Chief and/or asuselj@gmail.com for more information on Transfer and Hardship application process.
